Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking an Advanced Operator Generate for 2nd or 3rd shift to support and set up machines in the Machine Centers area. This role involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient start-ups and on-time production.

Responsibilities include creating CNC programs, maintaining equipment, leading CI initiatives, and contributing to new product launches. A strong maintenance background and proactive problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent with industrial training.
• 3–5 years of experience in machine technology/operations and routine maintenance.
• Career Readiness Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer/supplier activities (containment).
• Setup (2) technologies within established time study.
• Create and install CNC programs.
• Coordinate setup activities utilizing the department schedule.
• Participate in machine runoffs.
• Coordinate maintenance activities within the department (maintenance open work orders).
• Perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Lead and participate CI process; plan and implement corrective actions.
• Lead cell on quality process assurance.
• Identify repetitive failures and/or implement corrective actions based on failure analyses.
