Job summary

Dauch seeks an Advanced Operator Welding for 2nd and 3rd shifts at its Newton, NC facility. You will set up and run machines, program CNCs, and coordinate maintenance and containment activities to support production lines.

You will lead process improvements, participate in CI projects, and contribute to new product launches and autonomous maintenance daily checks, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with courses in industrial/mechanical technologies, industrial maintenance, or related training.
• 3–5 years’ experience in machine technology/operations and routine maintenance.
• Career Readiness Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the machines in the Machine Centers area.
• Coordinate customer/supplier activities (containment) and setup two technologies within time study.
• Create and install CNC programs; coordinate setup activities per department schedule.
• Lead/participate in CI initiatives and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in budgeting, program/product launches, and autonomous maintenance activities.
