Job summary

Dauch Newton is seeking an Advanced Operator to support and set up all machines in the Machine Centers area on 2nd or 3rd shift. You will coordinate customer and supplier containment activities, develop CNC programs, and runoffs, and drive improvements to meet budget targets.

The role requires 3–5 years in machine technology/operations and routine maintenance. A High School Diploma or GED (Career Readiness Certificate preferred) is typical. Location: Newton, NC; EOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with courses in industrial/mechanical technology or equivalent experience.
• Career Readiness Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer/supplier containment activities.
• Set up two technologies within time study.
• Create and install CNC programs.
• Coordinate maintenance and open work orders.
• Lead CI improvements and corrective actions.
• Participate in machine runoffs and cell launches.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and lead problem-solving teams.
