Job summary

Relativity Space is hiring for a second-shift role in the Stage Manufacturing team, based in Long Beach. You will run CNC router, plate mill, and roll forming equipment to build Terran R structures and enable scalable manufacturing.

The role emphasizes hands-on fabrication, precision measurement using micrometers and calipers, and collaboration across teams to improve processes. A 50-hour week with 10 overtime hours and a 10% shift differential is included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field.
• Experience with metal fabrication techniques (bending, rolling, etc).
• Proficient in the use of common hand tools and inspection tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Slack (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Operate 3 axis CNC router, plate mill, and roll forming equipment.
• Assist in standard and critical lift operations.
• Perform precision blending/deburring using power and hand tools.
• Conduct in-process inspections with micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges.
• Maintain Relativity Space safety standards and shop cleanliness.
