Job summary

Relativity Space's Stage Manufacturing team is seeking a skilled operator to run 3 axis CNC router, plate mill, and roll forming equipment, enabling efficient production of Terran R structures. You’ll participate in lift operations and quality checks, contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

The role requires 5+ years in aerospace mechanical work, proficiency with machining tools, and familiarity with inspection methods. A second shift of 3:00 p.m.–1:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field.
• Experience with machining equipment (mill, lathe) and proficient in the use of common hand tools and inspection tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or other team communication tools (e.g., Slack).
• Experience with metal fabrication techniques (bending, rolling, etc).

Responsibilities

• Operate 3 axis CNC router, plate mill, and roll forming equipment.
• Assist in standard or critical lift operations.
• Perform precision blending/deburring using power or hand tools.
• Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges.
• Uphold Relativity Space safety standards and foster an inclusive team environment.
