Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA is hiring for a shop-based role on the Stage Manufacturing team. You will operate 3-axis CNC router, plate mill, and roll forming equipment, performing in-process inspections and supporting safety and cleanliness standards.

You bring 3+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field, plus hands-on machining and metal fabrication skills. Experience with rigging, welding, or GD&T is a plus; strong tool use is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field.
• Experience with metal fabrication techniques (bending, rolling, etc).
• Experience with machining equipment (mill, lathe, etc) and hand tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or team tools such as Slack.

Responsibilities

• Operate 3 axis CNC router, plate mill, and roll forming equipment.
• Complete standard lift operations or assist in critical lift operations.
• Perform precision blending/de-burring using power or hand tools.
• Conduct in-process inspections with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Maintain safety and shop cleanliness; foster inclusive team environment.
