Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA is looking for a skilled machinist to join the Stage Manufacturing team. You will operate 3 axis CNC router, plate mill, and roll forming equipment to build Terran R structures and support launch readiness.

You will perform precision blending, deburring, and in-process inspections with micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges, while upholding safety, cleanliness, and an inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Experience with metal fabrication techniques (bending, rolling, etc).
• 3+ years aerospace mechanical experience or related field.
• Experience with machining equipment (mill, lathe) and hand tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or Slack (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Run 3 axis CNC router, plate mill, and roll forming equipment.
• Complete standard lift operations or assist in critical lift operations.
• Perform precision blending/deburring using power or hand tools.
• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges.
• Uphold safety and shop cleanliness; foster an inclusive environment.
