Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area to hire a Manufacturing Manager. This hands-on leadership role oversees production operations, mentors manufacturing leaders, and drives performance in a fast-paced, high-mix environment.

You will lead cross-functional teams, align schedules, and support ISO 13485 and Lean initiatives while ensuring customer commitments are fulfilled and operations scale with growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in CNC machining or precision manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing leadership or management role.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; JobBOSS preferred.
• Strong coaching and development of production teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet on-time delivery, quality, and revenue goals.
• Maintain a strong presence on the production floor and resolve bottlenecks.
• Mentor Department Leads and operations staff through coaching and feedback.
• Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Metrology, and Commercial teams.
