Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company located in Alexandria, MN. We’re seeking candidates for Operations Manager roles. Compensation for these direct hire opportunities is $80,000–$120,000 annually. The base pay range is provided below; your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

$80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

What you will do as an Operations Manager

• Assign, prioritize, and schedule daily departmental activities while mentoring and evaluating personnel


• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and safety across the facility


• Create and manage production schedules using ERP/MRP software to ensure timely delivery of products


• Coordinate workflow and identify cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality or safety


• Drive quality outputs that exceed customer expectations and ensure compliance with ISO and QMS standards


• Generate reports on production performance, quality metrics, and cost analysis


• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HazMat, SDS, and other safety regulations while overseeing equipment and facility maintenance


• Maintain inventory procedures and controls, ensuring accuracy and overseeing shipping operations


• Plan and implement systems, projects, and procedures using lean manufacturing principles, including 80/20 and 5S tools

What you need to be an Operations Manager

• Minimum 5 years of machining and supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment


• Strong familiarity with lathe, milling, and saw shop equipment


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems


• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, ISO standards, and OSHA requirements
