Job summary

Gulfco Manufacturing is seeking expert machinists for second shift at its Pueblo, Colorado facility. Starting wage up to $36/hour with potential for future increases. Eight 10‑hour/Friday shifts, plus relocation and hiring incentives for qualified new hires.

Role requires expert set-up, operation, and troubleshooting, with inspection against blueprints and GD&T. Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork to support long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Expertise in set-up, operation, and troubleshooting to meet production rates and schedules.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and job orders to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Experience with precision measuring tools: micrometers, calipers, bore gauges.
• Experience with tooling, hand tools, power tools, and cutting techniques.
• Knowledge of fixturing and equipment setup; experience with OD/ID grinding.
• Capable of coaching/train­ing less experienced machinists and operators.
• Committed to safety procedures and high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot machines to achieve production targets.
• Read blueprints and GD&T to ensure part quality and tolerances.
• Train and guide less experienced machinists and operators.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards on the shop floor.
