Gulfco Manufacturing is seeking skilled Machinists for a second shift in Pueblo, CO. The role emphasizes expert setup, operation, and troubleshooting to maintain production targets and high quality.

Qualifications

• Expertise in setup, operation, and troubleshooting to meet production rates and quality standards.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, process documentation, and job orders to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other measuring instruments.
• Knowledge and experience with fixturing, tooling, and equipment setup.
• Tool grinding and sharpening; OD/ID grinding experience.
• Capable of guiding and training less experienced Machinists, Machinist Trainees, and Machine Operators.
• Adherence to safety procedures and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot machinery to consistently meet production rates and quality standards.
• Read blueprints, GD&T, and job orders to determine dimensions and tolerances for parts.
• Use micrometers, calipers, bore gauges and other tools to verify dimensions.
• Assist with fixturing and equipment setup; support grinding and tooling operations.
• Guide and train junior machinists and operators as needed.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment and follow all safety guidelines.
