Job summary
Gulfco Manufacturing is seeking 2nd shift CNC/Manual Machinists for our Pueblo, Colorado plant. Relocation assistance up to $5K is available, with a starting wage up to $36/hour and a 0.75 shift differential on the 2nd shift.
This role requires expert setup, blueprint interpretation, and independent work in a fast-paced environment. We offer strong benefits including multiple medical plans, dental, vision, 401k with profit sharing, and tuition assistance.
Qualifications
- Expertise in set-up, operation, and troubleshooting to meet production rates and quality standards.
- Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings to determine tolerances.
- Experience with micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Capable of coaching and training less experienced machinists.
- Adherence to safety procedures at all times.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machines to meet production rates and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.
- Guide and train less experienced machinists and trainees.
- Maintain strict safety and housekeeping practices.
