Job summary

Ferrotec USA Corporation in New Hampshire is seeking a highly skilled machinist to join our machine shop. You will set up and operate multiple machines with attention to tolerances, inspect your own work, and document results to prints in a high-precision environment.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of machining experience, turning and milling skills, and Mazak programming ability. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of machining experience or equivalent
• Very experienced in turning; able to program Mazak equipment
• Has turning and milling experience; GD&T experience; can inspect own products to prints
• Excellent communication and teamwork are essential

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine shop equipment with detailed instruction
• Understand and apply ANSI Y14.5 standards
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with safety requirements
• Meet time estimates for each job and document labor transactions
• May handle hazardous waste at satellite storage areas
• Share expertise with less experienced machinists and help optimize setups
• Develop methods and setups to machine components to tight tolerances (+/- .0002 inches)
