Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist III in Salem, NH to produce machined parts by operating, setting up CNC mills, wire EDMs and lathes, following drawings and procedures. You will maintain quality and safety standards, read blueprints, perform some programming, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of CNC machining experience, a high school diploma or GED, and may have an associate degree or apprenticeship in tooling and machining.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate or apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Maths and English desirable (UK only).
• Ability to operate, set up, and maintain a CNC machine.
• Ability to run multiple CNC Machines.
• Ability to train new or lower-level machinists.
• Solid math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, wire EDMs, and CNC lathes.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot and understand CNC programs and processes.
• Maintain quality with OOQ standards and measurement tools.
• Propose speeds/feeds and perform routine PM.
• Support continuous improvement and housekeeping (5S).
