Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III to produce precision parts by operating and setting up CNC mills, wires, and lathes per instructions and drawings. You will maintain quality standards and record activities in the job tracking system.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 5+ years of CNC machining experience; an associate degree or machinist apprenticeship is preferred. This full-time role requires strict safety adherence and teamwork in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/specifications.
• Ability to program with some supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Propose new production setups and adjust offsets/tooling.
• Perform complex CNC machining with close tolerances on diverse materials.
• Read blueprints or specifications and ensure compliance with drawings.
• Troubleshoot and understand CNC programs and processes.
• Maintain OOQ quality standards using appropriate measuring tools.
• Propose speeds and feeds for different machining needs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance per schedule.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete routers/cards.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping in the work area.
