Job summary

TECOMET in Wrightstown, NJ seeks a skilled CNC Machinist III to produce precision parts by operating, setting up CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDMs, and reading engineering drawings to ensure top quality. You will work within GMP/GDP practices and maintain records and equipment to meet company performance metrics.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of CNC machining experience, strong measurement skills, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances following work instructions and drawings.
• Propose new production setups and adjust offsets/tooling as part of new setups.
• Perform difficult CNC machining including progressive parts with very close tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes; improve work instructions.
