Job summary

TECOMET is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist III in New Jersey to operate, set up, and possibly program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and lathes while meeting tight tolerances and quality standards.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, performing troubleshooting on CNC programs, and maintaining records and equipment to support continuous improvement and productivity targets. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Maths and English is desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within specified tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot and understand CNC programs and processes.
• Perform routine maintenance as per daily machine checklist and adhere to PM schedule.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
