Job summary

TECOMET in New Jersey is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist III to operate, set up, and possibly program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and lathes to produce precision parts. You will read blueprints, inspect parts, and ensure quality within GMP-like expectations.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in CNC machining, plus a high school diploma or GED. An associate degree or machinist apprenticeship is preferred, with strong problem solving and teamwork to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes to improve quality and productivity.
• Propose offsets/tools and adjust speeds/feeds for production requirements.
