Job summary

Tecomet seeks an experienced CNC Machinist III to operate and set up CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes, producing parts within tight tolerances. The role involves reading blueprints, programming with supervision, and maintaining strict quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in CNC machining, plus an associate degree or machinist apprenticeship. Strong attention to detail and safety are essential to support continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC machining experience.
• Preferred: associate degree or apprenticeship in tooling or machining.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances following work instructions and in accordance with machine programs and engineering drawings.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot and understand CNC programs and processes.
• Maintain quality by adhering to OOQ standards and using precision measuring equipment.
• Record all activities in the job tracking system and participate in continuous improvement.
