Job summary

TECOMET is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist III to produce machined parts by operating, setting up CNC mills, wires and lathes while maintaining quality and safety standards. The role may involve some programming and requires adherence to GMP/GDP and continuous improvement practices.

You will read blueprints, troubleshoot programs, adjust tooling, and maintain documentation, targeting productivity and quality in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDM's, and CNC lathes within specified tolerances.
• Propose new production setups and change offsets/tooling in machines as part of the new setup.
• Perform difficult CNC Machinist work including progressive machining with close tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Maintain and improve work instructions and documentation.
• Ensure product quality with OOQ standards and measurement tools.
• Propose speeds and feeds for different machining requirements.
• Perform routine PM and housekeeping; support continuous improvement.
