TECOMET in Melrose, MA seeks an experienced CNC Machinist III to operate, set up, and potentially program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and lathes. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement while meeting production targets.

Requires 5+ years CNC machining experience and a high school diploma or GED; an Associate degree in Tooling & Machining is preferred. On-site work environment with 5S/LEAN practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• HS diploma or GED required; related further education preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and lathes per instructions.
• Propose new production setups and adjust offsets/tooling.
• Perform complex CNC work with very close tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints/specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Maintain quality via OOQ standards and measuring equipment.
• Record activities on job tracking system.
• Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives.
