Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III in Methuen, MA to operate, set up, and potentially program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and lathes. You will read blueprints, chase tight tolerances, and maintain GMP/safety standards while recording activities and contributing to continuous improvement.

The role requires 5+ years of CNC experience, high school diploma or GED, and a machinist certificate or apprenticeship is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, setup, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Maintain quality and safety standards and records.
• Perform routine maintenance per PM schedule and keep 5S housekeeping.
• Train new or junior machinists as needed.
