Job summary

TECOMET in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist III to produce precision parts by operating, setting up, and possibly programming CNC mills, wire EDMs, and lathes. You will read blueprints, follow instructions, and maintain quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role requires 5+ years of CNC machining experience, the ability to handle multiple machines, and a commitment to continuous improvement and GMP practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Maths and English is desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Maintain quality and safety standards and document measurements.
• Support continuous improvement and 5S housekeeping.
• Perform routine maintenance per PM schedule.
