Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a CNC Machinist in Springfield, NJ (Senior Level) to set up and operate advanced machine tools, determine sequences, and select jigs, fixtures and tooling for complex parts.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and an apprenticeship or 4–5 years as a machinist, plus strong verbal and written communication and a solid commitment to safety and shop housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Must be able to make complicated set-ups and operate available machine tools.
• Must be able to skillfully use all machinist’s hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Must be familiar with the machining of most materials.
• Must be able to use advanced shop math, including trigonometry.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools for complex parts.
• Determine operational sequences, proper jigs, fixtures and design of tools.
• Move parts to and from the work area and maintain cleanliness.
• Follow safety requirements and company policies.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervision.
