LeoForce is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Setup Machinist who can independently set up, program (conversational or G-code), and operate multi-axis lathes with live tooling in Glendale Heights, IL. This hands-on role requires strong blueprint reading, first-article inspection, and proactive troubleshooting of programs and tooling issues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC lathe setup experience.
• Experience with multi-axis lathes and live tooling preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.
• Experience making program edits or conversational programming.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes (multi-axis, live tooling preferred).
• Load programs and make offsets as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Perform first-article inspections and in-process checks.
• Troubleshoot tooling, program, and machine issues.
• Maintain quality and production standards.
