Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist II to produce machined parts on CNC machines, ensuring quality and safety per company standards. The role requires precise tolerance control, accurate documentation, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced production environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in CNC machining, a high school diploma or GED, and a mindset toward safety, quality, and teamwork. The position is Swiss 1st Shift and based in Florida, with competitive pay and growth

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate's degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience of working in a production environment preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Math and English desirable (UK only).

Responsabilités

• Operate and set up CNC machines within tolerances per work instructions and drawings.
• Carry out progressive machining of parts with very close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and make minor offsets as needed for wear.
• Meet OOQ quality standards using a range of measuring equipment and readings interpretation.
• Perform routine maintenance per daily PM checklist and follow GMP/GDP basics.
• Perform hand finishing and maintain 5S/housekeeping.
• Follow safety practices to minimize risks to self and colleagues.
• Identify productivity improvements and meet targets.
• Record activities in the job tracking system promptly.
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives and escalate issues to the supervisor.
• Conduct basic visual, dimensional, and functional inspections; maintain traceability.
• Maintain inspection records and files per compliance.
