Job summary

Tecomet seeks a CNC Machinist III to produce machined parts by operating CNC machines, ensuring quality and safety, and keeping records. The role emphasizes Tecomet's continuous improvement and customer-driven innovation.

This is a 2nd shift position with shift differential. The successful candidate will perform precise machining, maintain tooling, and contribute to continuous improvement within a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC machining experience.
• Preferred: Associate's degree or toolmaking certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines within specified tolerances following work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Perform difficult CNC machining including progressive operations on various metals with close tolerances.
• Maintain tooling and off-set adjustments as needed for wear.
• Ensure product quality using OOQ standards and measurement tools.
• Adhere to GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Maintain 5S, record activities, and participate in continuous improvement.
