Job summary

Align Precision Corp. in California is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to manufacture detailed parts from blueprints using 5-6 axis machines.

You will set up milling and turning centers, verify tolerances with calipers and micrometers, and document processes in the ERP system while adhering to safety standards.

This position requires 5–6 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma with advanced training, and strong teamwork, math, and problem‑solving abilities.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of relevant experience.
• High school degree or equivalent, plus advanced training.
• Experience with 5-6 axis CNC machines.
• Able to read blueprints and tolerances.
• Strong measurement and inspection skills.
• Commitment to safety and clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling and turning centers according to complex blueprints and specifications.
• Retrieve job routings, part drawings, tool lists, work instructions, etc.
• Select and utilize appropriate cutting tools and work holding for various materials and processes.
• Document manufactured quantities and all required processes utilizing ERP system
• Perform precise measurements and inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machining efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• May assist with developing new machining methods and tooling for complex parts.
• Other duties assigned.
