Job summary

ALIGN PRECISION is seeking an experienced machinist to set up and operate CNC milling and turning centers per complex blueprints and specs. The role requires 5-6 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and strong attention to detail to ensure tight tolerances.

You will retrieve routings, part drawings, tool lists, and work instructions, select tools, document quantities in ERP, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining a safe, clean workstation.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of machining experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent with advanced training.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read blueprints.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and basic math.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain safety.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling and turning centers per blueprints.
• Retrieve job routings, part drawings, tool lists, and work instructions.
• Select cutting tools and work-holding for various materials.
• Document manufactured quantities and all required processes utilizing ERP system.
• Perform precise measurements and inspections to ensure quality.
• Participate in continuous improvement to optimize machining.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow safety protocols.
• May assist with developing new machining methods and tooling.
• Other duties assigned.
• Capable of standing for long periods.
