Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC machining experience, level dependent.
• Reading blueprints and applying GD&T accuracy.
• Experience with multi-axis machining (3+ axis required, 5-axis preferred).
• Knowledge of G-code and M-code for setup and edits.
• Strong troubleshooting and setup skills; detail-oriented and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines including 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis mills and mill-turn equipment
• Work on complex parts requiring multi-axis machining and tight tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints and apply GD&T principles
• Edit and optimize G-code and machining strategies at the machine
• Select tooling, set offsets, and verify workholding setups
• Perform first-article and in-process inspections
• Troubleshoot machining and setup issues independently
• Collaborate with programmers and engineers to improve processes
• (Senior level) Mentor junior machinists and lead setups on complex jobs
