Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist III to manufacture precision components per drawings and specifications. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and continuous improvement within a dynamic production environment.

The position requires setting up and running CNC machines on the 2nd shift with a focus on maintaining OOQ standards and using precise measurement tools. Strong math, detail orientation, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years CNC machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• Math and English GCSE/NVQ desirable for UK applicants.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines per work instructions and drawings.
• Progressive machining of diverse parts and metals with tight tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and adjust offsets for wear.
• Ensure product quality using OOQ standards and measurement tools.
• Perform routine maintenance per PM schedule and daily checks.
• Conduct hand finishing.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete routers/cards.
• Maintain safety practices and report issues.
• Aim for productivity targets and identify improvement opportunities.
• Document all activities in the job tracking system.
• Support continuous improvement and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping in the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
