Job summary

Swagelok in Ohio seeks a Level III Machine Operator to produce precision fluid-system components in a clean, temperature-controlled shop. You’ll set up, change over, and run multiple machines, using metrology tools to verify parts and ensure safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 30 months of machining/manufacturing experience or Swagelok Level II资格.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling and metal cutting.
• Experience with machine setup, blueprint reading, and basic programming.
• Ability to troubleshoot machining equipment.
• Knowledge of tooling such as form/shave tools, drills, reamers, cams and gears.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and quality inspection tools.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Follow SPS and participate in daily shift start-up meetings.
• Operate and changeover equipment per standard work instructions.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other tools.
• Monitor outputs and adjust tooling for quality and efficiency.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve machining issues.
• Complete preventative maintenance and routine care.
• Coordinate or escalate repairs for malfunctions.
• Document production activities and maintain records.
• Suggest process improvements to boost quality and safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
