Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our precision manufacturing team in the United States. You will set up, program (Fanuc), operate lathes, read blueprints, select tooling, and use metrology tools to verify part accuracy, ensuring tight tolerances across aerospace, automotive, and medical components.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in CNC machining, strong G/M code knowledge, and a track record of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience with setup skills.
• Strong blueprint reading skills.
• Proficiency in reading CNC programs (G & M codes - Fanuc).
• Experience with tool selection, tooling setup and offsets.
• Metrology tools experience; CMM knowledge is a plus.
• Attention to detail and teamwork with a safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and program Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes (turning) using CAM software per specs.
• Read and interpret blueprints/engineering drawings for accurate machining.
• Upload programs and adjust machine parameters as needed.
• Select tooling, install tooling offsets, and adjust offsets as required.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC machines.
• Conduct First Article Inspection using verniers, micrometers, and comparators.
• Maintain quality control and keep the workspace clean and organized.
