Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC's client in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to produce precision components for aerospace, automotive, and medical devices. You will set up, program Fanuc 3+ axis mills and lathes, read blueprints, and ensure tight tolerances.

You will upload programs, adjust tooling, perform First Article Inspections, and maintain quality while working 7:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri with overtime available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience.
• Proficiency setting up and operating CNC machines.
• Strong blueprint reading skills.
• Ability to read CNC programs (G & M codes - Fanuc).
• Knowledge of tooling and offsets.
• Proficiency with metrology tools; CMM a plus.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and program Fanuc controlled 3+ Axis Mills and Lathes using CAM software.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings for accurate machining.
• Upload programs and adjust machine parameters as needed.
• Select tooling and make offsets; perform routine maintenance.
• Conduct First Article Inspection with calipers and micrometers to ensure specs.
• Monitor quality control throughout the process.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
