Amentum is seeking a high-level CNC Machine Repair Technician in Winston Salem, NC. The role focuses on troubleshooting, aligning, and maintaining large CNC production equipment in an industrial setting.

You will mentor others, document repairs, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates have six years of CNC repair experience, OEM training, and the ability to work at heights, with proficiency in geometry and alignment using precision tools.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience as a CNC repair technician with alignment experience in an industrial production environment or equivalent combination of education/experience/OEM Training.
• Experience with alignments and machine geometry using precision calibration tools.
• Must be able to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift up to 30 feet or higher.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs CNC machines and equipment including pallets, fixtures, and spindles.
• Calibrates instrumentation, equipment, and controls for optimum performance.
• Finds solutions and assists with procurement of spare parts.
• Performs preventive maintenance on process/production equipment per CMMS.
• Ensures safety regulations and company policies are followed.
