Job summary
Amentum is seeking a Multiskilled Technician III in Winston-Salem, NC to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment including CNC machinery, robotics, and conveyors. The role collaborates with other technicians, ensuring safety and adherence to standards while addressing customer needs.
Responsibilities include responding to work orders, analyzing issues, and providing technical guidance.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in industrial maintenance or equivalent with 2 years of experience
- Or a high school diploma/GED with 3 years of experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment substance abuse test
- Ability to obtain a security access badge at client’s location
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on process/production equipment as scheduled in CMMS
- Respond to and provide service to the customer on all work orders while complying with codes and standards
- Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving problems
- Understand and enforce safety regulations
- Wear PPE and follow safety guidelines
- Prepare/complete assigned tasks per supervisor procedures
- Coordinate work with others in the project
- Provide technical guidance and assist less experienced personnel
- May train other technicians and prepare formal reports on experiments/tests
