Job summary

Morris Group, Inc., including Morris South, is seeking a CNC Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites across the Southeast to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain CNC machine tool equipment and controls. You will research issues using manuals and vendor resources, document status, and provide after-sales technical support and training.

The role requires 5+ years of repair experience, ability to read drawings, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with mechanical/electrical repair of CNC machine tools.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and other business programs.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
• Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements; flexible hours, overtime, weekends.
• Frequent regional travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain CNC machine tool equipment and controls.
• Research machine issues using manuals and vendor resources; document status to customers.
• Document repairs and installations; provide after-sales technical support and training.
• Promote and perform preventative maintenance and stay knowledgeable on product lines.
