Job summary

Daniel Defense is seeking an Equipment Maintenance III for the D-Shift (Thurs/Fri/Saturday 7pm-7:30am) in Black Creek, GA. The role focuses on equipment maintenance, safety, and 6S on the shop floor.

You will lead maintenance tasks, diagnose malfunctions, and perform both routine and unplanned repairs to CNC production equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, experience with CNC systems and PM routines, and a commitment to safety and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and relevant maintenance experience.
• Apprenticeship or equivalent training plus applicable maintenance skills.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to service pumps, motors, shafts and spindles.
• Ability to work varying shifts or weekends as needed.
• Experience with power, pneumatic, hydraulic and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency repairs of CNC production equipment.
• Maintain manufacturing equipment and machines, including preventative maintenance.
• Record and track maintenance schedules and test machine operation for malfunctions.
• Follow SOPs, quality, and safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
• Direct department tasks in the Maintenance Supervisor's absence.
• Ensure housekeeping and 6S standards on the shop floor.
