Job summary

Daniel Defense is seeking a Team Leader for the D Shift (Thu/Fri/Sat, 7pm–7:30am) in Black Creek, GA. You will lead a manufacturing team to meet daily production goals and KPIs, while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in manufacturing, 3 years in manufacturing, 1–2 years in leadership, and strong communication. Proficiency with Lean tools and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in manufacturing or related field with 3 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent education/experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in a leadership role preferred, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proven record of professionalism and integrity; team-oriented and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Lead a manufacturing team of approximately 5–9 employees to meet daily production goals and KPIs.
• Provide training and development to improve safety, 6S, quality, cost, and efficiency.
• Set, monitor, and report daily production metrics; ensure shifts start/end on time.
• Lead daily safety meetings and enforce SOPs in a production environment.
• Troubleshoot with cross-functional teams to prioritize and solve issues; use Lean tools for process improvements.
• Demonstrate commitment to environmental health and safety principles and company values.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
