Job summary

Daniel Defense is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 1 for the Finish Turn on the B Shift in Black Creek, GA. You will operate CNC machinery, load materials, monitor quality, and support continuous improvement under supervision.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and prefer 1+ year CNC-related experience. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are required to maintain safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year CNC experience or related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to pass basic skills assessment in Mathematics, Metrology, Blueprint Reading, and Operator Work Instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
• Able to work as part of a team and adapt to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conform to and operate within SOPs, quality and safety procedures as directed by supervisor.
• Operate CNC machinery (mill, lathe, gun drill, etc.) at an acceptable production level.
• Load and unload raw materials safely according to work instructions.
• Monitor machine for unusual sounds or vibration and report findings.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, dial indicators and other precision tools per inspection sheets.
• Keep machines, tooling and fixtures clean and well maintained.
