Job summary

Daniel Defense is seeking a Machinist 1 for the Mixed Model B shift (M/T/W 7pm–7:30am) in Black Creek, GA. The role supports the Manufacturing division, operating multiple machines, performing setup offsets, and ensuring quality parts through precision inspection and problem solving.

Candidates typically have a GED or high school diploma with 2–4 years in manufacturing; a two-year technical degree or CNC apprenticeship is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; typically 2–4 years of manufacturing experience or related related experience and training.
• Two-year technical degree or CNC apprenticeship in related coursework is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conform to operator work instructions, SOPs, quality and safety procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot machines; calibrate tools and set offsets.
• Inspect parts with precision instruments and monitor process flow to meet production requirements.
• Assist in training machine operators and uphold company safety and environmental standards.
