Job summary

ECS Limited in Houston, TX is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Senior Project Manager to lead projects from proposal through final delivery. You will ensure quality, client satisfaction, and financial performance while mentoring staff and developing business.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil/Construction Engineering or related field, at least 5 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, excellent communication, and strong leadership and project management skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience required.
• BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Materials Science Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Geology.
• Valid driver’s license if driving for ECS subsidiary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced project management and consulting skills.
• Strong business development and client relationship abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of construction materials testing principles and ASTM standards.
• Proficiency with construction materials testing software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage CMT projects from proposal through completion.
• Ensure all tasks from proposal to invoicing are completed accurately and on time.
• Oversee daily report review and resolve technical/administrative issues.
• Manage project budgets, invoicing, pay applications, and collections.
• Prepare and review proposals and change orders.
• Serve as primary contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings to present findings and resolve issues.
• Provide technical oversight for testing activities and deliver quality results.
• Mentor and develop junior staff and PMs.
