Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Texas is seeking a CMT Senior Project Engineer to lead construction materials testing projects from proposal to closeout. You will oversee quality, client satisfaction, and financial performance while guiding project teams with a focus on client relationships.

You will mentor staff, contribute to business development, review technical deliverables, and ensure adherence to ASTM standards. This on-site role requires strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience.
• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license in each state you work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Advanced project management and consulting skills.
• Strong business development and client relationships.
• Extensive knowledge of CMT principles and ASTM standards.
• Proficiency with CMT software.
• Able to mentor staff and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead CMT projects from proposal through completion.
• Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Oversee daily report reviews and resolve issues.
• Manage budgets, invoicing, pay apps, and collections.
• Prepare and review proposals and change orders.
• Serve as primary client contact and stakeholder liaison.
• Host project meetings and present findings.
• Provide technical oversight for testing activities.
• Mentor junior staff and allocate resources.
• Market services and develop client relationships.
• Perform other project management and leadership duties.
