Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for Construction Materials Testing to lead projects from proposal to closeout. You will ensure technical quality, client satisfaction, and financial performance while mentoring staff and supporting business development.

The role requires a PE license, a BS in Civil Engineering, and strong leadership in a consulting environment. You will manage multiple projects, coordinate testing activities, and communicate findings to clients.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required in each state of practice.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with construction materials testing software and ASTM standards.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages construction materials testing projects from proposal through completion.
• Ensures tasks are completed accurately and on time, including invoicing and change orders.
• Oversees report review and resolves technical issues.
• Manages budgets, invoicing, pay applications, and collections.
• Mentors staff and supports business development and client relationships.
