Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC) seeks a Program Specialist VI to serve as the Quality Report Specialist within the Quality Data Analytics and Reporting Department. This role supports CMS reporting, data analysis, and cross‑functional coordination to ensure timely, accurate submissions.

The incumbent will lead integration of federal guidance into operational reporting, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with internal divisions and partners to ensure compliance and quality across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• At least three years’ full-time work experience with Medicaid, long-term services and supports programs, or health and human services programs.
• Experience with health care quality measurement, federal or state reporting, compliance reporting, or performance monitoring.
• Experience preparing reports for federal submission preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reporting and Federal Compliance: Coordinates and leads the development, review, and submission of federally required reports with CMS guidance and timelines.
• Data Analysis and Performance Monitoring: Analyzes data from multiple sources to identify trends, validates data, and supports dashboards and reports.
• Stakeholder Coordination and Collaboration: Coordinates with internal divisions and external partners to gather inputs and align reporting requirements.
• Process Improvement and Quality Assurance: Develops standardized reporting processes and uses quality methodologies to improve reliability.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
