Job summary

Healthcare for the Homeless – Houston (HHH) seeks a Quality & Compliance Specialist to support quality improvement, compliance, data reporting, and patient safety activities. Working under the Manager of Quality, Compliance, and Risk, you will assist with audits, data collection and reporting, regulatory documentation, and improvement projects across the organization.

The role favors someone organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with data, and eager to contribute to healthcare quality.

Qualifications

Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field.
1–2 years healthcare quality or compliance experience.
Strong documentation and record-keeping accuracy.
Ability to learn new systems and regulatory requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication across teams.

Responsibilities

Quality Monitoring and Improvement: assist with routine reviews, audits, and quality checks.
Compliance and Regulatory Support: assist with monitoring HRSA, HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, and FTCA requirements.
Data & Reporting Support: enter, clean, validate, and organize data for reporting.
EHR & Documentation Support: monitor documentation and reporting workflows.
Risk & Patient Safety Support: assist with incident tracking and trend reporting.
Cross-Team Collaboration: work with multiple teams to collect information and support initiatives.
