Job summary

Qualifications

• MS/PhD (or equivalent) in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related field.
• 5+ years of semiconductor CMP process engineering experience in 300mm wafer fab.
• Experience in dielectrics/metals CMP process development and understanding of slurry/pad interactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop CMP processes to meet physical and electrical requirements of Micron’s products.
• Optimize CMP processes to reduce cost and variability while improving capability.
• Collaborate with process integration and development teams on new solutions; conduct root-cause and failure analysis.
• Lead process transfer and pilot lines; support international technology transfer when needed.
