Job summary

You will develop and optimize CMP processes that meet device performance criteria for next-generation semiconductor technologies. The role emphasizes fundamental research, data analysis, and process characterization, with opportunities to apply AI-enabled tools to improve research outcomes and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an MS or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or related STEM field with expected graduation after Sept 2027.
• Strong written and verbal communication in a STEM context.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Experience documenting research through reports and presentations.
• Knowledge of organic/inorganic/surface/electrochemistry or materials science.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and evaluate CMP processes and hardware platforms.
• Conduct fundamental research, process characterization, and data analysis for process development.
• Assist with projects to improve process capability, productivity, and contamination control.
• Apply AI-enabled tools to analyze data and improve workflows.
• Prepare and present technical findings to engineering and research teams.
