Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an Intern - Process Development Engineer for Planar DRAM CMP in Boise, ID. You will collaborate with engineers to develop CMP processes, analyze data, and support AI-enabled tooling to improve research productivity.

Qualifications

• Pursuing MS or PhD in a STEM field with expected graduation after Sept 2027.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience creating technical presentations, reports, and research documentation.
• Working knowledge of organic/inorganic/surface/electrochemistry or materials science.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and evaluate CMP processes, chemistries, and hardware for future nodes.
• Conduct fundamental research, process characterization, and data analysis to support development.
• Assist with projects to improve process capability, productivity, and contamination control.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools to analyze data, improve workflow, and support decisions.
• Prepare and present technical reports, experimental results, and recommendations.
