Job summary

Uline, a family-owned leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials, seeks a Senior Configuration Management Engineer to own the CMDB and ensure data accuracy across our IT landscape. This role supports IT operations across North America and informs executive decisions.

You will develop reports and dashboards, automate workflows, and implement configuration and asset management standards to drive reliable CMDB capabilities across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of IT experience with ITSM products such as ServiceNow, Flexera One, HP Service Manager or BMC Atrium.
• Practical coding and automation skills with PowerShell, Python, SQL, APIs or similar technologies.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Uline does not participate in the H-1B lottery.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the CMDB, ensuring data is accurate, current and properly documented.
• Develop reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights to support audits, configuration status, lifecycle and executive decision making.
• Improve data accuracy by implementing automated workflows, discovery tools and system integrations.
• Establish and implement Configuration and Asset Management systems, standards and policies to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Collaborate across teams to gather and analyze data, translating findings into scalable CMBD capabilities.
